jermaine
From the marching band to the dance floor, Jermaine’s journey into DJing began with a love for performance and rhythm. After discovering Virtual DJ and falling in love with electronic music through tracks like “Sandstorm” by Darude, Jermaine immersed himself in Atlanta’s hardstyle and dubstep scenes under the name BIGBLK. Over the years, his identity evolved—from StoryTella, where he honed his gift for musical storytelling and landed a feature on Georgia Tech radio, to now simply Jermaine, a name that reflects his bold yet soulful style.
Jermaine’s sets are immersive experiences, where deep grooves, meglodic techno, afro house, and latin tech house blend to transport listeners into a spiritual, whimsical world. Influenced by artists like Black Coffee, Dilby, and the energy of Toolroom Traxx, Jermaine crafts soundscapes that invite connection, movement, and emotion.
Whether playing open-air festivals or live radio, Jermaine lives for the moments when the crowd becomes one. His mission? To continue growing as a producer, host unforgettable events, and one day tour the world playing the biggest festivals and clubs. Passionate, intentional, and always evolving—Jermaine isn’t just spinning tracks, he’s telling stories you can dance to.
QUILL
A quiet curator with a deep love for sound, Quill stepped into the world of DJing after years of being an avid listener and admirer of electronic music. Drawn in by the way DJs shape entire experiences through rhythm and selection, he eventually made the leap from fan to artist—transforming his appreciation into expression. Since then, Quill’s journey has steadily progressed, marked by meaningful sets alongside respected local artists and communities.
At the heart of his sound lies emotion—melodic, rhythmic, and mood-rich, often evoking both melancholy and bliss. Quill’s sets are rooted in genres like progressive house, melodic house, afro house, and organic house, delivering textures that are both introspective and elevating. His inspiration spans from the hypnotic sounds of Deadmau5 and Cloudnone to the lush melodies of Don Diablo and even indie elements from Alvvays—a genre-fluid approach that shapes his sonic identity.
Rather than force a feeling, Quill invites each listener to experience the music on their own terms. His sets act as emotional frameworks—open to interpretation, unique to the moment, and deeply personal to everyone in the room, including himself.
Quill has earned his place in the regional electronic scene with performances for respected collectives like Kinetic Audio, Blendr, Sub Rosa, and Section4—experiences that continue to refine and evolve his style. Each stage is another opportunity to learn, connect, and share a piece of himself through sound.
As for what’s next? DJ Quill stays elusive with a smile—“Shhh… you’ll just have to find out.” But one thing’s for certain: wherever he’s playing, expect a deeply crafted musical journey that invites you to feel, reflect, and move.
REEFbUM
For DJ REEFBUM, music isn’t just a passion—it’s a calling. With a background steeped in soul, jazz, metal, and EDM, REEFBUM’s journey behind the decks began with a single transformative night at The Fruit in Durham, NC. Watching a DJ control a room with seamless energy shifts and emotional intention planted a seed that would grow into a full-blown pursuit of sound and connection. That night, he didn’t just fall in love with music—he found purpose.
From hustling two jobs to afford his first controller, to showing up at every open deck session across the Triangle, REEFBUM’s come-up is built on raw drive and heart. Still early in his journey, but already a force to watch, REEFBUM is driven by growth, fueled by community, and ready to move any room lucky enough to hear him play.
dj sos
Born from a season of solitude and self-discovery, DJ SOS found his voice behind the decks after moving across the country for college. In unfamiliar spaces and quiet nights, music became his bridge to connection. Frustrated by parties where no one danced and people held back, SOS decided to shift the energy himself—by becoming the one behind the music. What began as an exploration in 2023 quickly evolved into a passion rooted in unity, rhythm, and radical joy.
DJ SOS's sound is a vibrant fusion of boppy dance beats, Afro-RnB, deep and Chicago house, classic soul, and modern RnB/Hip-Hop. His sets float somewhere between nostalgic throwbacks and futuristic soundscapes, effortlessly blending artists like Kaytranada, Brent Faiyaz, H.E.R., Trinidad Deep, and Kelela with global inspiration from platforms like Soulection. The result? A warm, bouncy, genre-fluid experience that invites listeners to both groove and feel.
For SOS, DJing is about shared moments. Whether it’s friends singing lyrics to each other, strangers dancing like old souls, or heads nodding in quiet appreciation—each set is a chance to help people drop into the present and escape the noise of everyday life.
From rocking a DJ/MC duo set at Mike's Vegan in Greensboro, to navigating growth and grit at The Fruit's DJ Battle, to curating intimate gatherings like “Just Another Kickback”, DJ SOS brings intention, soul, and community wherever he spins. His performances are equal parts energy and intimacy—designed for joy, healing, and uninhibited self-expression.
What’s next for DJ SOS? More shows across the Triad, Raleigh-Durham, and Dallas, collaborations with creatives and collectives, and content through The Blank Network documenting his rise as both a DJ and a human becoming. With dreams of moving crowds in warehouses, art galleries, rooftops, and global festivals, SOS is just getting started—inviting us all to ride the soundwaves with him.
