Still feeling the warmth — not just from the sun, but from the energy, love, and community we created together at Moore Square Park on July 19th.
What started as a simple Friday DJ set quickly turned into a day I’ll hold close to my heart. The sun was blazing, but so were the vibes. It was hot, yes — but the people who showed up, stayed, danced, smiled, and truly felt the music made it all worth it.
I want to give my deepest appreciation to Jermain and Quill. You both brought something real to the park. both djs, Afro mix took us on a rhythmic journey that felt grounding and spiritual. Quill, your house set was vibrant, layered, and uplifting — it elevated the space in such a beautiful way. It’s not easy to move people in an open space, but you two did it effortlessly.
Thank you for saying yes to this opportunity. Thank you for bringing your sound, your soul, and your time to the city. As someone curating these events as ClarityMonk, I don’t take your presence or your art lightly.
To everyone who came out — some of you familiar faces, others brand new — thank you. You showed up with open hearts, moving feet, and pure joy. We had people dancing barefoot, lying out on blankets, smiling at strangers, and letting go. That’s what these events are about. It’s more than just a DJ set — it’s connection, healing, celebration, and peace.
Creating space like this takes intention, collaboration, and community. This event reminded me why I keep pushing through the hard days. Why I keep organizing, curating, networking, and spinning. It’s not about clout — it’s about creating moments of freedom and joy for folks who need it.
